Daily Recording Limit
Each Pipe account is limited to a number of recordings per UTC day. The limit can be increased on request.
| Account type | Recordings per UTC day (initial limit) |
|---|---|
| Trial | 100 |
| Standard | 750 |
| Creator | 1,250 |
| PRO | 2,500 |
What Counts Toward the Limit
Both saved and unsaved recordings count toward the limit. The following are counted:
- Recordings made with the recording client, as soon as the recording starts. A recording that is never saved still counts.
- Files uploaded through the recording client or the legacy mobile recorder.
When the Limit Resets
The limit resets every day at 00:00 UTC.
What Happens When the Limit Is Reached
The recording client will not initialize and will display a message instead.
PipeSDK.onRecordersInserted() will not be called in this case.
Checking Your Usage
The account page of the Pipe dashboard shows your limit, the number of recordings made during the current UTC day and the time left until the limit resets. The stats page shows the number of recordings for each of the last 35 UTC days.
