Which browsers and devices are supported?
All major desktop and mobile browsers on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. Requirements and compatibility.
What resolution can users record at?
Up to SD on Standard, HD on Creator and 4K on PRO with the main recorder, subject to what the camera offers. The legacy mobile recorder has no resolution limit. See the table above.
Why do phone videos come out sideways elsewhere but not here?
Phones record in one orientation and tag the intended rotation in metadata; many players ignore the tag. AddPipe reads it and bakes the correct orientation into the mp4 and its snapshot.
What format do I get?
An mp4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, moov atom first so playback starts before download completes, plus a snapshot and a 25-frame filmstrip. On PRO you can keep the original browser file as well.
Do my users need an app or an account?
No. Recording and playback run in their browser on your page, with no download and no AddPipe account.
What does it cost?
Plans start at $50 a month plus VAT or sales tax, and each plan's fee prepays recording up to its own value. Per-minute rates by resolution are in the table above and on the pricing page.
How do I get started?
