Recordings that upload themselves to your channel.

Connect your YouTube channel once and every processed recording is pushed to it automatically. No downloading, no re-uploading, no one remembering to do it.

Hosting and playback, free

YouTube handles the encoding ladder, the global CDN and the player. For public-facing video that is a lot of infrastructure you do not have to pay for or build.

No manual step to forget

The upload happens after processing, every time. Nobody downloads an mp4 and re-uploads it, which is where this workflow usually breaks.

It can run alongside your own storage

Push to YouTube for playback and to your own bucket for the copy you control. The two are not exclusive.

What this is good for.

Testimonials for publication

Customer videos that are meant to be seen, landing on the channel ready to embed anywhere.

Course and community content

Contributor recordings that go straight to an unlisted channel for review, then public when approved.

Screen walkthroughs

Support and training screen recordings, hosted and streamed without you building a player.

Details.

How is the channel connected?

Through Google OAuth from the AddPipe dashboard. You approve the upload permission once and AddPipe holds a token for that channel. You can revoke it from your Google account at any time.

Are the uploads public?

They arrive under your channel with the privacy status you configure. Unlisted is the usual choice when the recording is a submission rather than a publication.

Which file is uploaded?

The processed mp4, after transcoding. YouTube then runs its own encoding, so there is a short delay before the video is playable at full quality.

Does this replace storing recordings elsewhere?

It does not have to. YouTube can run alongside a push to your own S3 bucket, so you get free hosting and playback plus a copy you control.

What are the limits?

YouTube applies its own daily upload quota and content policies to the channel. A high-volume application should push to your own storage and use YouTube selectively.

Can I choose the title and description?

The upload is configured in the dashboard. For full control over titles, descriptions and playlists, take the video_converted webhook and call the YouTube Data API yourself.

Record once, find it on your channel.

Pushing to YouTube is included in the 14-day trial. No card required.
