You can record video using the recording widget above in all major desktop and mobile browsers including Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.

What resolution will the video recording have?
The above video recording tool is configured to record video at HD (1280x720) resolution. To create higher resolution videos, you need to sign up for an account and generate your own FullHD or 4k video recorder.
What audio and video codecs are used?
The video recording widget above will rely on the browser's capabilities. With Chrome you'll get H.264 video and Opus audio in a WebM container while with Safari you'll get H.264 and AAC audio in an fMP4 container.
Is the recording made locally on my computer?
The recording is made locally but it is streamed in real time to a cloud video ingestion server. This works well when your purpose is to collect video recordings from your website visitors or users.
What happens to the recording after I leave this page?
We delete recordings from our cloud video ingestion server as soon as possible (within hours).
How can I add the same video recorder to my website?
Sign up for a free 14-day trial, and you'll be able to generate your own video recording widget. Use the embed code to add it to your website and start experimenting. All recordings made or uploaded through your widget will appear in your account dashboard.
Will my users need to download an app and/or open an account?
No. Your end users can record and play videos directly in the browser without creating an account on our website.
Is there any processing done on the audio?
No. Echo cancellation, noise suppression and auto gain control are all disabled in the video recording tool above.
